Hercules Industries: Proudly Made in America
As global tariff tensions persist and domestic manufacturing remains a cornerstone of national resilience, Hercules Industries is proud to reaffirm our commitment to American industry. Since our founding, we have remained steadfast in our dedication to U.S.-based production, sourcing, and compliance—principles that continue to guide us today.
A Leader in American Steel Processing

Hercules Industries is one of the nation's largest steel processors, proudly purchasing our coils in railcar quantities from domestic steel mills. Our investment in American manufacturing supports local jobs, strengthens the national supply chain, and ensures top-tier quality across every product we deliver.
Our state-of-the-art facilities process millions of pounds of American steel annually, contributing to infrastructure projects nationwide. From the raw materials we source to the finished products we ship, every step of our process happens right here in the United States.
Employee-Owned and Proud

We are more than just American-made—we are employee-owned. As an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company, every team member at Hercules has a stake in our success. This structure empowers our workforce, fosters long-term commitment, and builds a culture of shared responsibility and pride.
When you work with Hercules, you're partnering with a company where every employee is personally invested in delivering quality, integrity, and service. Our team members aren't just workers—they're owners who take pride in every product that bears the Hercules name.

Compliance with BABA and BAA Standards
In alignment with federal procurement and infrastructure standards, Hercules Industries is fully compliant with both the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) and the Buy American Act (BAA). These two regulations play a key role in ensuring taxpayer dollars support American-made materials and labor—an effort we wholeheartedly support.
Build America, Buy America (BABA)
- Focus: Iron and steel used in infrastructure projects such as bridges, rails, and public transit.
- Requirement: Materials must be 100% melted, poured, and manufactured in the United States.
- Established: Part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (2021), reinforcing supply chain transparency and national self-reliance.
Being BABA-compliant means our products can be confidently used in federally funded infrastructure projects across the country.

Buy American Act (BAA)
- Focus: Broader scope than BABA, covering federal procurement across a wide range of industries.
- Requirement: Products must be manufactured in the U.S., with at least 50% of the component cost originating from domestic sources.
- Established: Enacted in 1933, the BAA promotes long-term investment in American manufacturing and innovation.
Our compliance ensures that Hercules Industries remains a trusted supplier for government contracts and projects.
